\n Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Mechanical Assembler for a company based in Lawrenceville, GA . In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your mechanical and electrical skills while building customized golf carts in a growing company that values quality workmanship, attention to detail, and opportunities for advancement. \n

\n $18.00 per hour \n

\n

\n Schedule and Hours \n

\n

\n Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM\n

\n

\n Mechanical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities \n

\n

\n
• Assemble golf carts according to build sheets, printed instructions, and customer specifications.
\n
• Install electrical components including wiring harnesses, batteries, controllers, lighting systems, and accessories.
\n
• Perform mechanical assembly of steering, suspension, braking, and drivetrain components.
\n
• Install customized accessories such as lift kits, wheels and tires, enclosures, sound systems, and lighting packages.
\n
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure completed golf carts meet company and customer standards.
\n
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during the assembly process.
\n
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
\n
• Complete assembly projects accurately while meeting production deadlines.
\n

\n Mechanical Assembler Qualifications and Requirements \n

\n

\n
• Previous experience in automotive, mechanical, electrical, golf cart, powersports, marine, or related assembly fields.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and build sheets.
\n
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
\n
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
\n
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
\n
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment for extended periods. 
\n

\n

\n   Preferred Qualifications \n

\n

\n
• Experience assembling golf carts, automobiles, motorcycles, powersports vehicles, or similar equipment.
\n
• Knowledge of DC electrical systems and battery-powered equipment.
\n
• Welding, fabrication, or customization experience is a plus. 
\n

\n
